Our customers are a very generous bunch. Since restarting our fundraising after Covid in 2023, events at The Mutton & Dani’s charity swimming challenges have raised £26,906, alongside money raised specifically for our senior citizens’ free Christmas lunch.
Charity quizzes, pétanque & Easter fairs — £12,957
Our monthly Monday charity quiz supports a different charity each time. Every penny of the entry fees goes directly to that evening’s charity, counted & handed over on the night, with raffles helping to boost the total.
Together with our charity pétanque Pro-Ams and Easter fairs, these events have raised £12,957.
Charity swimming challenges — £13,949
With generous sponsorship from customers, friends and family, Dani’s marathon swimming challenges have raised a further £13,949 since 2023.
Across our fundraising, beneficiaries have included Little Lifts, Brundall Cancer Community Chest, Caring Matters, the MND Association & Aspire, alongside many other local charities & good causes.
Our senior citizens’ Christmas lunch
We raise money specifically for our annual free senior citizens’ Christmas lunch through book sales & contributions after our monthly walks. This community generosity covers the cost of bringing our senior citizens together for a festive meal & Christmas company.
We also support the annual Plant & Produce Sale and the Tiny Tots Christmas party—where Bob may or may not bear a striking resemblance to Father Christmas…
Whether you’ve entered a quiz, bought a raffle ticket or a book, donated a prize, contributed after a walk or sponsored a swim—thank you. Your support makes it all possible.
